I don't believe that they had direct flights to Recife, but you had to make the jump from Recife to Manuas or Fortaleza on TAM and DL to ATL from there. I am going to Fortaleza next week and the direct flights from ATL to Fortaleza were d/c'd last week. Now I have to go all of the way to GRU and then 3 hours back the way I came to Fortaleza. So, even if they did serve Recife it won't pick back up until January or so.
