Lesson learned. The letter will get you what you want IF it is worded right. You'll learn that points aren't everything (did I actually say that?) and that a returning loyal guest will get the same treatment as an HHonors VIP and the DT probably appreciates your returning to them. I have done my share of jumping across the street and the PITA factor(pain in the a-- ) doesn't outweigh the loyal guest factor. Happy New Year.
