I have been told by several different UAL employees that the company shut down Paris due to so many problems with French employees. I do not know if this is true.
I guess no one told AA and DL, both of which have expanded and are thriving on traffic to CDG. AA has picked up, in effect, the base UA had in the early 2000s with daily service from 5 gateways, and a total of 8-9 flights a day.
