I do see the difference. And in some jurisdictions this scenario is illegal or will result in disciplinary action. So your argument is specious.

Here is a better example - some guy who normally works at the local stadium but has tickets for the days entertainment. They go to the VIP line, show their employee ID, and walk in. While you stand there cooling your jets with the masses. SOP
