If my job required going through TSA several times a day, every day, I would certainly try anything I could to avoid the lines. Note, though FAs and pilots may stay airside for most of the day, depending on the layout of the airport GAs, food staff, janitorial, etc may need to go between terminals/concourses several times a day and each trip deal with security (MKE is the first airport that come to mind). If they were made to wait in line, they would literally be spending 1/2 of their work day at security.
