Well, that may be true for the flight crew, but it does not apply to the guy taking your order at the airside McDonald's.

Does it matter if the off-duty employee has bags or not? I think it's one thing for to cut thru if you are only cutting the metal detector line; it's another if you're also cutting the line at the xray belt.
