they really are similar

- both cat 6 hotels (overrated)
- both have to little care of SPG members
- both have AMAZING locations
- both need to be polished up

Go there thinking you are going to a 5 star hotel - you'll be disappointed
Go there for location / views etc etc you'll have a good stay

Best way to sum up LM Monaco
Can't agree more- both these properties are overrated and awful in terms of Plat benefits
