KA damaged my Samsonite checked baggage but no compensation...

Just flown KA901 from PEK to HKG on last Sunday, however, when I picked up my Samsonite bag in the carousel, my bag was fully wet, when I unzipped it, it's smell like a soap with water, some my stuff like travel adapter, LAN cable, mouse, etc...were damaged.

This is the 1st time that I ever encounter a water proof Samsonite bag got totally wet, the KA ground staff kept saying that it's probably raining in PEK, but I told him it was a sunny day, then he said that it was raining a couple hours in HKG, but I said in even HKG, my bag should be unloaded from a metal container (ULD) from an A330, how can my bag got wet...? Unless it was submergered to a full tank of water...so the water can goes in from the zipper junction...

I brought the bag to the KA baggage counter, they wrote me a receipt that they only promised to pick up my bag for washing & repair it, but I said I want my stuff compensate, they rejected it, they said I can claim it either under my company travel insurance or my personal insurance, but I said I definitely won't claim my personal travel insurance as it will increase my premium / loading for next year. & the worst of all is I also just found out that my company is not covering any insurance for luggage...

Any idea / suggestion that I can claim back anything from KA...?
