Well I have received many, some of which is still use years later, so we have very different experiences... and maybe we do because I do chase them up when the hotel don't bother to put them in the room!

I like others here get annoyed when an IC does not bother to fulfill the basic requirements of RA - I do not expect or demand any more than that, but believe in enquiring when basics not attended to.

Such nice RA gifts received and still used include:-

IC Grand Stanford - a) Hotel branded protective travel bags for shoes: Fantastic, use on every trip.
b) Ornate metal wine bottle stop in velvet bag and hotel branded box: very nice, use at home regularly.

IC Berlin - USB clip-on computer mini fan: great in summer/the heat.

IC Sydney - Signed framed local photo: hanging on my wall at home.

IC Singapore - Hotel branded Leather pocket book + credit card holder

Some very good wine and bubbly at numerous other ones!

And there are others (picture frame, a nice pen and a leather wallet, etc), just can't remember which ICs I got them at !
