Well, it's a good thing one can qualify for MPC based on sectors as well as miles. At a paltry 73 miles per sector, even if you somehow managed to sit on all four KA sectors per day between HKG & CAN in the entire year (1460 sectors in a year), one still wouldn't be able to retain DM based on miles
