you'd not be missing much. its about the lamest hotel I've ever been to.
When we stayed there, we asked the bungler (oh, it seems they call them "butler" there) for some Earl Grey tea.
it was brought to the room in 2 coffee mugs . I told the bungler to go away , try a bit harder, and serve them in tea cups.
15 minutes later the butt-ler served us the Earl Grey - this time in the tiny cups that green tea is served in.
The place is a pretentious little dump in a sordid location.
Bangkok is awash with great hotels, the SGS is not one of them.
