Because the property will be opening under a new brand (St Regis) and will be completely refurbished, I don't think any of us can predict this. I suggest that you contact folks at the property directly and put the question to them. Because tourism is significantly down in Kauai and the property will need to (re)establish itself, I am optimistic that they would be candid with you as to which is the better strategy.
