Heh. I did call before I posted here. The first agent said "I guess that means it earns zero". I said other airline partners list which fares are ineligible. The funny thing is that at this point he started looking at other partner earning rates and commented that a few did list the ineligible fares -- it sounded like he was browsing the same aeroplan pages I was on
Anyways that fare is gone now
I'll end up paying more but getting a better product on SQ I hope.
