Which is probably why you're going to end up holding the short end of the stick. I think the hotel is more likely to dig their heels in if they're only going to tick off a small number of people - especially when giving the room at such a large discount. If it were 100 guests booking a $99 mistake rate when the room was $299 or $399, you may end up in a different position.
