However, I find it ridiculous that they will be operating 2 flights daily to CAN. The bus services and ferries can beat the prices that KA is offering, unless the passenger is on a tight schedule may it be beneficial.
I fly via HKG to TPE and it only costs about USD40 more roundtrip (in coach), and that includes tax and fuel surcharges for HKG stopovers. I expect something similar for CAN. USD40 is only about RMB280, and the cost is probably less for transits. This is not an expensive option. CX can get passengers away from other airlines for passengers from Guangzhou (or west of Guangzhou).
