I travel those PEK-HKG KA flights often and found it usually full and only once that it is 20% full on the aircraft. So it varies.
However, I find it ridiculous that they will be operating 2 flights daily to CAN. The bus services and ferries can beat the prices that KA is offering, unless the passenger is on a tight schedule may it be beneficial.
