I read something about the A380 visit on the BAA website, http://www.edinburghairport.com/

Suggested itinerary: A380 spotting, then a late lunch, followed by a short drive over the bridge to observe the docked Rosyth - Zeebrugge ferry. Compare and contrast at your leisure
