I agree. I usually travel solo, but after flying CO now for almost a year, the only points about flying with a companion which have sunk into my brain are:
1) Split the PNR after booking, and
2) Companions can only get added to the upgrade standby list 2 hours prior.
Anything beyond that will entail a great deal of pre-research and searching on this forum when I am in that situation.
