As a woman I've certainly noticed that FA's in F (both male and female) will take the coats from male passengers to hang up and completely overlook the fact that I have my coat in my outstretched hand to be taken as well. Happens frequently.

As for hotels, the one upgrade I got to a Presidential Suite was from a male who recognized me from prior visits. On the other hand, the 2 most memorable rude front desk clerks were male as well.
