I recently applied for a business charge card and the approval was not automatic. I called and the problem was resolved in under a minute. I was logged into my business account which shows my office address, but American Express had asked for my home address. Further confusion because one of the credit bureaux has my office address listed as a "previous" residence. When I explained which address was home and which was office the application was finalized, and the card delivered within 48 hours.
