I've had great TA FA's and not so great ones. On a trip of that length and after spending either considerable money or miles (more often) for the Envoy ride the last thing I want is to know how much an FA dislikes their job or begrudges those needy Envoy passengers. The days of great 'ask us anything' service are long gone and getting good service usually means following the pattern: don't ask for a drink when they aren't serving them, only take what is left out in the galley during the flight, take a nap or watch the IFE (if it works) during the flight and so on. Unfortunately, US is making Envoy the long-haul version of domestic first: a bigger seat and marginally better meals. Note that I didn't say more comfortable seat, though it is more comfortable then the folding chairs in coach. The new seats aren't all that comfie IMO.
