Well, Michael O'Leary will be pleased as he'd predicted their failure - including having "Bye Bye Sky Europe" painted on Ryanair 737s!

Apparently SkyEurope never made a profit - which was, in retrospect, nice for the 13m or so passengers who flew them since 2004, but not so good if those passengers were relying on the continuation of service.

No doubt Ryanair will swoop in to pick up the valuable passenger traffic.
