Hi,

We all know - US is pretty pathetic, but so far - flying between LGW and CLT in Envoy - I have never complained about the service delivered by the F/A's. The seat could be old, the IFE inoperative, the aircraft dirty, but the F/A's were quite good.

Couple of days ago, I flew (for the first time) from LHR to PHL - what a change... I mean the aircraft was still old, the seat newer, but not particularly comfortable, IFE a joke AND in-flight service dreadful. There were only NINE of us in Envoy (8 revenue plus 1 non-rev, if I red the manifest correctly). Service was rushed, wine not offered to those who ordered something else as a pre-dinner beverage, cheese plate not offered, rolls not warmed up etc., etc. The male F/A have not smiled even once...

After rushing the meal service, both Envoy F/A's taken seats 1C/E and started watching inflight movies. OK, I am not anti-F/A, but apart from one occurrence (LO flight WAW-ORD with only 3 passengers in Business) I have never seen anything like this (but I have just taken couple of trips to Australia in Business with NZ and OZ, so maybe my expectations are too high).

An the way back, I flew from CLT to LGW (full flight) and service received from CLT-based F/A's was really good.
