just to give everyone some hope who is a trial silver.... I signed up for DM then the Silver trial program and on my flight with a DM number, from PHL to LAX, I got the upgrade to F (on a 94 dollar coach fare originating from BUF hahahaha )

I even flew back on United and got the upgrade to Eplus by asking the gate agents!!

The program works for US for sure, as I am now going to MIA in 3 weeks just to get the other 5 segments to keep my silver status
