A quick call to ANZ got me the PNR, which allowed me to see my itinerary online, but I could not select a seat. A quick call to the 1K help desk took care of that.
(I also checked out using miles for a Star Alliance upgrade -- as most of you probably know, turns out those only work from full fare (Y, B) Economy to Business. Would have to pay $700 each way to downgrade myself ...)
