Hello Folks
I am travelling from UK to India next month and I purchased my air tickets from India over the phone. The dealer has added an extra alphabet within my surname. Now he claims that he will charge additional amount to amend the tickets.
I called British airways to seek help, they have confirmed my passport no. is correct but the attender was not sure if the spelling mistake could case any problem or not. He also said that BA cannot do anything now, it has be cancelled and rebooked.
Please if any one has gone through this situation, i would be grateful for your help. Please suggest or comment.

Strange, I booked tickets for myself and a colleague. By mistake I entered his surname beginning with a C instead of a K.
I called Executive Club and they changed it within a minute, no charge.
