Observation: Immigration officers checking passports at a/c exit
When I arrived at YYZ on AC from FRA the crew announced that there were "Canada Customs" officers checking passports at the exit of the plane. Turned out to be uniformed, armed, CBSA officers checking passports (but not the declaration cards) and they were detaining people for various reasons. We still had to get in line for the usual entry (and the ????$$% NEXUS machine declared my iris to be that of an unregistered person). There was another team at the exit from the flight from ZRH. Anyone know what is going on?
