Anyone remember back in the "old days" when UA flew a 747 called the "Royal Hawaiian" from SAN-LAX-HNL? As a kid in the summers I would go outside every morning to watch it fly over my house.

You could just do SAN-LAX on that flight too. Can you imagine that nowadays? I think that was the only 747 service SAN ever had. Now you have to fly an EMB120 SAN -LAX. What a downgrade!
