The switchover to SABRE should be happening fairly soon and once the code share agreement is approved, it will likely be a full interline service---through checked bags, onward boarding pass issued at departure, and reciprocal frequent flyer benefits. This would give Miles and More members an incentive to connect with jetBlue and make other flights within North America on B6 when visiting. The more money jetBlue makes the more LH's investment pays off. jetBlue can be the go to carrier for LH passengers wanting to visit NYC/BOS/MCO along with the Caribbean/Florida/Central America/West Coast USA. LH also owns Swiss International Airlines and is just completing the takeover of Austrian Airlines which will potentially give jetBlue even more connecting traffic. Should be a win-win for both airlines.

Maybe jetBlue can offer a visit North America pass for Europeans/Africans/Asians coming into North America on LH.
