Agreed that it's not worth a lot of trouble choosing a seat for the short SFO-LAX flight, but good to know the deal for the future.

And I wish I was in C on NZ -- premium economy for me. (I guess my next challenge would be to figure out how to upgrade myself on NZ -- although I am pretty sure my discounted PE fare is not eligible)
