I have a soft-sided bag that fits fine on any UA RJ. I have a CO flight booked on an ExpressJet 145 and am hoping that I won't have any problem...

Any help?
We don't call them Kenjets for nothing . To use the overheads, you need the special Kenjet soft sided baggage which is especially made for such planes.
I have a duffle which is the exact dimensions of the Kenjet overhead, and with appropriate application of force, will fit it exactly. Of course, I get the FA's who question me on whether this bag should even be permitted on the plane, but it has not failed me yet!! You just need to fly these little darlings enough to know that you need such a bag.

Dear old Ken always had the right gear for the right situation .
Ah, the joys of flying out of the hublet.
