To be honest, I'm not sure what this forum is for anymore. I used to find it a useful resource on tricks of the trade, recommendations, promotions, strategies for upgrades etc. What it has predominately turned into is a site for complaints. Whining is tiresome and boring and serves little purpose unless you're looking for companionship in misery. A.Net is a perfect site for that.
The entire premise of your questions is wrong. CO is not non-competitive in the India market. It just happens that in order for them to sell you a seat on the dates and time you want, they required a certain fare. Other airlines had different fares based on your travel requirements. Just because CO didn't meet your marginal price point, doesn't mean they're wrong. It means they forecasted that they can get higher revenue from other passengers. There's no magic. They do want your revenue, but they want to make sure they get the highest revenue they can.
