I've definitely seen op-ups on either end ( as recent as last tuesday when the last few eco passengers who were connecting from a delayed flight barely made it and the GA just randomly placed them in the 2 available eco seats and the 3 available C seats just to get the doors closed and the aircraft off on-time, though we did end up sitting 5 feet from the bridge for another 30 minutes), but I don't get the feeling they're as frequent as on some other routes, mainly because so many people know to put in for an upgrade request in advance on these flights.
