I was looking at my goldpassport.com account detail this morning and noticed a new column for PDF copies of folios for past stays.

Now, the first several I clicked on returned the message, "Your folio is not currently available," but if they get this working, and it contains all the information that is shown on the hotel's folio (including line-by-line detail, applicable bonuses, credit card used, etc.), this will be a very valuable feature.

For me, the greatest use of it will be the large percentage of times that G bonuses or Diamond Amenity bonuses or MasterCard designations don't come through, requiring me to chase the points. This will save me having to scan the folio into a PDF to submit to my Private Line Agent. (I'm assuming agents will have the ability to view these PDF files on their end.)

So while I certainly wish they would fix the core issues surrounding their pathetic record of accurate bonus posting, this has the potential of at least helping to make the chasing easier. Not to mention the ability to easily get a copy of a folio that one misplaced or didn't have time to obtain when checking out.

All around, this will be a very helpful feature. Starwood, are you paying attention?
