I am not trying to talk them down, in fact I really like AB and their crews are usually excellent ^ ^ ^ Their catering is far superior to LH on the same routes (short european flights) and I even have on board entertainment of three kinds ('funny' videos, magazines and nice crew), the planes are in good condition.... So really definitely NOT talking them down...!!!!

The only thing I am saying is: If I tell people they have a certain benefit (advance seat reservation for all seats but XL-Seats, which cost extra money), I should honor that.....

So far I usually sit in the Bulkhead row when doing the OLCI....Why not when prereserving a seat...?

Anyhow, all calm down, the lowly silver member shuts up now
