Is it my imagination or is this thread just going in circles?

To the OP, there is no answer to your question when you're just in the planning stages and have no idea where in the NYC metropolitan area you'll be going. But if you find a convenient flight and a good fare, just grab it; the good news is that the entire NYC metropolitan area is easily accessible from LGA, JFK and EWR.
