We stayed at the Hilton Waikaloa Village on the Big Island about 6 years when the kids were younger. Great family vacation hotel. My kids still talk about the wonderful time they had on that vacation. The hotel has multiple towers in which to stay and they are all connected via a canal and boat. Alternatively, there is a monorail. The lagoon was good for beginning snorkelers and watercraft (paddleboats). AND, Dolphin Quest is present on the property. We did not use points for that stay, so I cannot offer help on that point. Here's a link:
