I was curious if it is possible to convert a ticket that was upgraded using miles into a gate upgrade if they are available? Right now I have a flight booked in K with an upgrade using miles. I presume that when I get to airport, they will pull the miles for the upgrade. If while at the gate they offer V inventory for sale, is it possible to have the miles redposited and pay for the upgrade?
