Great thanks, the reason I had to ask twice is that after browsing FT it makes traveling on 2 separate PNRs seem like a real gamble. I hadn't realized that it was as easy as checking your bags through. I was under the impression that if you missed your flight you had absolutely no rights when it came to the connection. You said that you booked a TG flexible J fare! The major issue is whether TG is warned of your late arrival in case it happens. They would know is they check your PNR a bit carefully. But if your CX plane is scheduled to depart as delayed it would not hurt asking CX to inform TG. Unfortunately, TG departs from the new (charter) terminal, so you cant get there easily from CX terminal. You should also ask TG now to write a memo in your TG PNR that you connect from CX701. Whether that is of any use is another question.
