It looks like lots of people have been recently affected in the same way by the Club Europe seating plan changes causing seat shifting. We have all received the same error message on attempting to select some seats together, rather than at opposite ends of the aircraft. Although BAEC will sort it out, it took me nearly 30 minutes to go through all my bookings which had been affected. It is a waste of time for the call centre staff and it wastes our time. I think BA should be more considerate to the passengers it has bumped out of their previous seat assignments and improve its IT coding to enable new seat assignments to be placed together and to enable us to change seats using MMB rather than having to phone in our requested changes.
