If I recall correctly from last years' FFN, registering for the promo and having a revenue stay during the promo dates were the only criteria necessary for earning FFN.

Any reservations made before the promo registration but not yet completed were eligible provided the GP member registered for the FFN promo BEFORE the stay. Therefore making a reservation now, prior to the promo announcement wouldn't be a problem provided you registered for FFN prior to that stay.
