Exactly. And most hotels depend on ancilliary revenue - mini-bar bills, internet charges, breakfast charges, dinner charges, pay TV. The hotel is actually losing out if it has to deny a room to a 'real' guest because you have booked a deeply discounted advance stay and not turned up.
