Yes, they will indeed. I fly this route 2 times a year with 2 seperate tickets. SFO-SIN on UA and SQ from SIN-BOM with 8 hrs layover in SIN on the way to BOM and 16hrs on the way back to SFO. Baggage transfer all the way both ways. Nothing to worry about since u are on all in on one ticket.
