Hi gang,

I checked Expert Flyer again to come up with a list of economy classes Asiana has. They are the following:

B, BN
E
H, HN
K, KN,
L, M, N,Q,R,T
C, W, Y, YN

where

"V" or "W" class ticket earns 70% according to Asiana's website. What about the others?

Anyone can shed some light? After this conclude, maybe we can start a sticky thread on the Asiana fare classes and their respective earning power on Asiana.

I am guessing here... I checked United's website to see what kind of status mile would a United Milage Club member earn flying with Asiana in different economy class codes:
With Unitied Milage Club members flying on Asiana flights
Y, B, E, H, K, M, Q, S (Standard ?), and U (shuttle service!?) yeilds 100% status miles for United Milage Club members... Does that mean it will also yeild 100% for Asiana club members?

Then I cross reference that with ANA and it seems inconsistant.
For ANA Milage Club members flying on Asiana:
Y, E, U (Expert Flyer says Shuttle Service - a bus?) 100% status miles
B, K, H, M, S, Q - gives only 70% status miles

I pulled another cross reference with Air Canada's Aeroplan.
For Air Canada Aeroplan members flying on Asiana:
U, Y, E, B, M, H, Q, S, K 100% status miles
V, W - 70% status miles

So what is the status mile earning power for each class for Asiana Club members? The red is the inconsistant part from different airlines.
