First, I admit to over thinking this... but that's what FT has done to me!

I had 6C, which is a fine seat IMO, however 48 hours ago, I was in need of a measly 54 EQM's to make 1P, and about 1,000 cleared from my Chase Visa, so when I check the seat chart this morning 9 B, C & D were open to me (5 A&B also).

For 2008, and 2009 to date, I was 2P, but in 2007 I was 1P and row 9 is the best, so....

at first I selected 9C, and then I thought about the last few flights in C, where I had a newbie next to me who keeps asking me questions, like "How do I plug in my video", or "Can you show me how to use the video", or "Can you help me with my seat"...

So then I thought that the person who is already in 9A is likely an elite & experienced C pax and I can avoid all the Q's. So I switched from 9C to 9B.

I'm right handed, so having the aisle on my right side might be better... 6C will miss me. Been there last 3 flights on PS.

And I should add, this is a Sep 7 (Labor Day flight) and Y is sold out per the seat chart. Looks like they will oversell Y badly.
