But that was the 747 that had those paint jobs. I thought it was so that ATC could tell just by looking at the aircraft type it was, but I think I'm really far off the mark with that one. This has me intrigued now as well. Maybe One of our resident flight deck or cabin crew can provide the answer. Paging jumbodriver
