Assistance/Suggestions on Wasington DC to Singapore Itinerary Using UA Miles

Hi guys,

I'm curious on which star alliance carrier and the route is the best value for money for my visit to Asia. I have 27x,000 UA mileage Plus miles that I would like to use it if possible. But, not sure that is the best way to go or do the upgrade.

I heard Singapore Airline is the best way to travel to that part of the world but they do not come to DC. So, please put some inputs about what you'll be traveling if you were me. Travel dates are leaving Washington in or around X'mas and coming back after two weeks. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Kan

P.S- I'm dreaming of Singapore Airline A380, business or even first suit.

P.P.S- Wow.... with united Saver award program, I only need 135k miles for Business class to Singapore. Is it the best bet?
