You can set up a Mutual Fund account to combine them. It was a real hassle when I did it -- first they told me all I needed to do was send them a letter with both our signatures on it. Then they wrote back, two weeks later, and said, no, they needed a copy of my wife's driver's license. Then after that, oops again, they said they actually needed a copy of the marriage license. Inordinantly frustrating, but it's all over now. Finally.
