I have a friend who has 480 tier points. He didn't think he would be able to make Silver (600 points), as his year end is approaching.

He is moving to France for a couple of months very soon.

I have done a Google and it seems that the level in Europe for Silver is only 400 Tier points. Can anyone confirm this is correct please?

If so, can he change his address to his French one and then get Silver status, does anyone know please?

He doesnt have a BA credit card, or use Tesco points, which seem to be the main disadvantages I've seen listed.
