That's really too bad. I've been on plenty of flights where E+ is very light. I would be happy to have LH status fill the seats. Hell, I've been on flights where UA first is open and they just leave it empty. Why not give an OPUP or something. A good friend I know that travels a few hundred k a year is now flying BA. Says it's night and day. Says that he gave up UA on long haul because most of the FAs on those routes are just looking for retirement...where as on BA the service is outstanding and the FAs are just looking good.
